Participative Skills Workshops

The Lauriate approach is different. We take the time to understand your business - its culture, direction, successes and challenges and agree principles and objectives against which success of each workshop can be measured.

Our workshops are also highly personalised and we like to get to know the participants - before the workshop. This means that we can plan and tailor the workshop to meet specific needs and we don't waste valuable time delivering material that is either not relevant to your workplace or needed by the individuals in the group.

Team Experiences

These go beyond the regular workshop and team building activities to provide 'experiences'. In conjunction with our strategic partners Krazy Kat we are currently offering teams a zany creative experience rooted in the age old tradition of comedia. Comedy is renowned as a way of presenting difficult issues and material in a way that is easy for people to relate to as well as being entertaining.

When used appropriately and skillfully getting people to see the funny side of a difficult situation can lift the spirits and spark renewed energy. This programme can be used 'just for fun' as a team treat without support from our business psychology team or it can be targeted as a light and refreshing way to explore more serious team issues.

People are encouraged to work to their strengths and participate in ways that feel comfortable for them from making costumes and props, being a 'stage hand' or playing the lead. There is a natural role for everybody on the team.
