Providing coach-mentees with "clear thinking space" supported by an objective sounding-board can be invaluable for individuals to more strategic and consider their actions within the broader context of their role. One-to-one coaching & mentoring within organisationsThis approach is a powerful means of improving overall performance as it focuses on the individual - their strengths and weaknesses, communication style, personality factors, motivation and experience. We assist participants in our one-to-one programmes to identify how to modify their behaviour to achieve greatest success in their role and then we support them in making sure the changes happen. "Coaching is the facilitation of an individual's learning process, enabling the individual to take ownership for their own development". Anna Britnor Guest Lauriate coaching programmes are built around a formal, measurable but flexible process. The duration and objectives of each programme will vary according to the needs of both the individual, the organisation and the external marketplace. Clients repeatedly tell us that a key factor in choosing our coaching services is that our lead coach-mentors are experienced with successful track records in their industry sector. We frequently work in the IT, Telecoms and Electronics sectors and understand the pressures organisations face in these highly competitive dynamic business environments. Other sectors that we are experienced in include banking & and healthcare. All of our programmes are practical, innovative and backed up with the high degree of professionalism assured by either the British Psychological Society (BPS) or the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) codes of ethical conduct. Coach-mentor skills workshopsWe design all of our workshops to achieve specific client objectives. Workshops are built around key mentor competencies and incorporate formal learning with role play, "real play", exercises and discussion to maximise learning potential. In addition, we can observe participants in their "live" mentoring role and offer direct feedback. |
