Andrew Evans MIET
Andrew is an Electronic Design Engineer who has many years of experience
working as an ASIC designer and system architect in England, The Netherlands
and Belgium. Working on projects where the designers are spread over the
world in small teams has given him insight into the importance of
organised processes to coordinate the teams and the difficulties
that occur when different cultures work together with very limited
face-to-face contact.
The electronics industry exists in a highly competitive rapidly changing
risky environment where projects only succeed if they are innovative, defect free
and in the market before the competitors. These requirements have meant
that the industry has developed leading edge processes for innovation, risk analysys,
project management and team design.
